Daniel Patrick Adair (born February 19, 1975) is a talented Canadian musician. He is famous for being the drummer for the band Nickelback. Before that, he played drums for 3 Doors Down. Daniel also plays with two other Canadian bands: Suspect and Martone. Martone is an instrumental band that focuses on jazz fusion music.

Daniel Adair's Musical Journey
Starting with Martone
Daniel Adair began his music career by joining an instrumental band called Martone. He auditioned for the band's guitarist, Dave Martone. The band recorded its first album in 1995. They released another album, Zone, in 1999. In 2002, they released A Demon's Dream.
Joining 3 Doors Down
In 2002, Daniel became the touring and studio drummer for the popular band 3 Doors Down. While with them, he helped record the studio album Seventeen Days. He also played on their live album Another 700 Miles. Daniel toured 14 different countries with 3 Doors Down. He also appeared on many TV shows.
Becoming a Member of Nickelback
Daniel left 3 Doors Down to join the Canadian rock band Nickelback. This happened in 2005. That same year, Nickelback released the album All the Right Reasons. This album was very successful. It reached number one on the Billboard music charts. It also sold millions of copies.
More Albums with Nickelback
In 2008, Nickelback released their next album, Dark Horse. The first song from this album was "Gotta Be Somebody". It came out on September 29 in North America. The album was produced by Joey Moi and Mutt Lange.
In 2011, Daniel and the other members of Nickelback released Here and Now. This album included popular songs like "This Means War" and "Bottoms Up".
Later, Nickelback released more albums with Daniel. These include No Fixed Address in 2014. They also released Feed the Machine in 2017. Their most recent album, Get Rollin, came out in 2022.
Other Music Projects
In 2007, Daniel Adair recorded drum parts for a new band called Burn Halo. This band was started by James Stephen Hart. Daniel also played drums on the song "Santa Monica" for the band Theory of a Deadman's album Gasoline in 2005. He also contributed to a song called "You're Everything" on Bo Bice's album The Real Thing in 2006.
Beyond Music
Daniel Adair also has a special hobby: flying! He has a private pilot licence. He first learned to fly using ultralight aircraft. Today, he owns his own plane, a Maule M-7. In 2020, Daniel was diagnosed with radial tunnel syndrome. This is a condition that affects the nerves in the arm.
