Daniel Avilés Valiente (born on April 4, 2001) is a Spanish actor. He is well-known for his role as Carlitos in the TV series Los protegidos.

Early Acting Career
Daniel Avilés started acting at a young age. He first worked on a science TV show pilot called En100rra2. This show was never broadcast.
He also acted in three short films. These were Campo de batalla, Rascacielos, and Miedo.
Becoming a Star in Los Protegidos
In 2010, Daniel joined the main cast of the TV series Los protegidos. This show was on Antena 3 (Spanish TV channel). He played the character Carlitos for three seasons, from 2010 to 2012. This role made him very famous in Spain.
Other Projects and Musicals
In 2010, Daniel and his family took part in a TV program called Cruce de caminos. They walked part of the Camino de Santiago. This was for the Jacobean Holy Year.
In 2013, Daniel made his debut in a big musical. He played Simba in the famous Broadway musical The Lion King.
