Daniel Avilés Valiente was born on April 4, 2001. He is a Spanish actor. Daniel is most famous for playing the character Carlitos in the TV show Los protegidos.

Daniel's Early Acting Career
Daniel Avilés started acting when he was young. He made a pilot episode for a science TV show called "En100rra2," but it was never shown.
Soon after, he acted in three short films:
- Campo de batalla (Battlefield), directed by Fran Casanova
- Rascacielos (Skyscraper), directed by Mariana Torres
- Miedo (Fear), directed by Luis San Román
Becoming a TV Star
Daniel was then chosen for a main role in the TV series Los protegidos. This show was on the Antena 3 channel. He was in all three seasons of the show, from 2010 to 2012. In the series, he played Carlitos, a boy with special powers.
In 2010, Daniel also traveled with his family along part of the Camino de Santiago. This journey was for a 13-episode TV program called "Cruce de caminos" (Crossroads).
Daniel on Stage
In 2013, Daniel made his debut in a famous musical. He played Simba in the Broadway musical The Lion King. This was a big step for him, moving from TV to live theater.

In April 2013, Daniel signed a new contract with Antena 3. He played a character named Nacho in the series Vivo cantando. He continued this role as Ignacio "Nacho" Ruiz Almagro from September 2013 to November 2014.
In October 2014, it was announced that Daniel would join a new comedy show on Antena 3. The show was called Algo que celebrar (Something to Celebrate).

In May 2013, Daniel also appeared in a series on Telecinco called El don de Alba. He played a character named Dani.
In March 2014, he had a supporting role in the series Dreamland on the Cuatro channel. In this show, he also played a character named Dani.
