It's shaped like a rectangle, measuring about 20 feet by 22 feet. That's roughly the size of a small classroom! It has a roof that slopes down on two sides, called a "gable roof," and it sits on a strong stone base.
The newer part of the house is also a one-and-a-half story section, measuring 20 feet by 22 feet. However, this part was built using stone instead of logs.
