Daniel John Erlandsson (born May 22, 1976) is a talented Swedish musician. He is best known as the drummer for the band Arch Enemy. He has also played drums for other bands like Carcass and Brujeria.
Daniel started his music career in 1990. One of his early works was drumming on the In Flames album Subterranean in 1995. He has also played with many other groups, including Eucharist, Liers in Wait, Diabolique, and Armageddon.

Early Life and Family
Daniel Erlandsson was born in Malmö, Sweden. He grew up with his older brother, Adrian Erlandsson, who is also a famous drummer. Adrian has played for bands like At the Gates and The Haunted.
Both brothers started playing drums when they were very young. Daniel shared that his brother was a big inspiration for him. He said that if it wasn't for Adrian, he probably wouldn't be playing drums today. They used to practice together in their parents' basement.
Music Career Highlights
Playing with Carcass
From 2007 to 2010, Daniel played drums for the band Carcass during their reunion shows. He stepped in because their original drummer, Ken Owen, could not play due to health reasons. Daniel and another Arch Enemy member, Michael Amott, left Carcass in 2012. Daniel Wilding then became the new drummer for Carcass.
Joining Brujeria
In 2012, Daniel was asked to join the band Brujeria. He played under the stage name "El Clavador" while with them.
