Daniel Lindström (born January 30, 1978) is a Swedish singer from Umeå. He became famous after winning the Swedish Idol competition in 2004. He won against another popular singer, Darin Zanyar.

Daniel's first song, "Coming True", was a huge hit and sold a lot of copies. His first album, also called Daniel Lindström, came out in December 2004. It quickly became the number one album in Sweden! His second album, Nån slags verklighet (which means Some kind of reality), had songs that Daniel wrote himself in Swedish. His third album, D-Day, was released in 2009.

In 2009, Daniel and other singers from Idol went to New York City. They talked about their experiences in music and how the music world was changing.
