Daniel Nicholas Mosley, also known as Lord Ravensdale, was born on October 10, 1982. He is a British engineer and a member of the House of Lords, which is part of the UK Parliament. He works as a project director for a company called AtkinsRéalis. His great-grandfather was a well-known political figure named Oswald Mosley.
Lord Ravensdale became the 4th Baron Ravensdale and 8th Baronet on February 28, 2017. He inherited these titles from his grandfather, Nicholas Mosley. The title of Baron Ravensdale was first created for his great-great-grandfather, George Curzon, 1st Marquess Curzon of Kedleston.
Education and Engineering Career
Daniel Nicholas Mosley was born in Nottingham, England. His parents are Shaun Nicholas Mosley and Teresa Frances Mosley.
He studied at the University of Sheffield. He earned a top degree in aerospace engineering. This field involves designing and building aircraft and spacecraft.
In 2006, he started working at a company called Atkins as a systems engineer. A systems engineer helps make sure complex projects work smoothly. He later became a project manager in 2011 and then a project director in 2015.
Role in the House of Lords
On March 27, 2019, Lord Ravensdale was chosen to join the House of Lords. This happened through a special election for hereditary peers. He took the place of Viscount Slim.

Daniel Mosley married Rachael Carter in 2010. They have three sons together.
