Floyd Nathaniel Hills (born February 22, 1982), known as Danja, is an American record producer. He comes from Virginia Beach, Virginia. A record producer helps artists create their music. They guide the recording process and shape the sound of a song. Danja has worked with many famous singers. These include Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, and Mariah Carey. He started his career working with the well-known producer Timbaland.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Floyd Nathaniel Hills was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When he was young, he loved music. He started playing the drums and piano in his early teenage years. He also played music at his church as he grew up.

In 2000, Danja worked with producer Teddy Riley. They worked on an album for the group Blackstreet. A year later, in 2001, Danja met Timbaland. This meeting led to a big chance for him. Two years later, Timbaland invited Danja to Miami. There, Danja began working in Timbaland's music studio. This was a key step in his career.

Making Hit Songs

Danja became known for producing many popular songs. He often worked with Timbaland. In the mid-2000s, he produced songs for various artists. These included "Love Story" by Katharine McPhee. He also worked on "Innocence" and "Earth Intruders" by Björk. For Timbaland's own album, he produced "Give It to Me" and "The Way I Are".

In 2007, Danja produced several songs for Britney Spears. He worked on her album Blackout. He produced the hit song "Gimme More" and "Break the Ice". The next year, he produced more songs for her album Circus. One of these songs was "Kill the Lights".

Danja also helped create songs for Madonna's 2008 album Hard Candy. He worked with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake on these tracks. This included the popular song "4 Minutes".
