Floyd Nathaniel Hills was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When he was young, he loved music. He started playing the drums and piano in his early teenage years. He also played music at his church as he grew up.
In 2000, Danja worked with producer Teddy Riley. They worked on an album for the group Blackstreet. A year later, in 2001, Danja met Timbaland. This meeting led to a big chance for him. Two years later, Timbaland invited Danja to Miami. There, Danja began working in Timbaland's music studio. This was a key step in his career.
Making Hit Songs
Danja became known for producing many popular songs. He often worked with Timbaland. In the mid-2000s, he produced songs for various artists. These included "Love Story" by Katharine McPhee. He also worked on "Innocence" and "Earth Intruders" by Björk. For Timbaland's own album, he produced "Give It to Me" and "The Way I Are".
