Dario Dabac is a former professional footballer from Croatia. He played as a defender for many different clubs around the world. After his playing career, he became a football manager and sporting director.

Dario Dabac's Playing Career
Dario Dabac was born on May 23, 1978, in Senj, which is in Croatia. He started his professional football journey in his home country.
Early Years in Croatia and Germany
Dabac began his career with NK Zagreb in Croatia, playing there from 1998 to 2001. After that, he moved to Germany. He joined Dynamo Dresden in 2001 and played 55 games for them over two seasons. He then played for Union Berlin in 2003 and Greuther Fürth in 2004.
Playing in Austria and Japan
In 2005, Dario moved to Austria to play for SV Ried. He spent two seasons there, playing 37 games and scoring 2 goals. His football journey then took him to Japan, where he joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2006. He played 23 games for the Japanese club until 2008.
Return to Europe and Asia
After his time in Japan, Dabac returned to Croatia to play for HNK Rijeka from 2008 to 2009. He then moved to Kuwait, playing for Al Arabi in 2009-2010. His career continued in Asia when he joined Chongqing Lifan in China in 2011, playing 20 games. In 2012, he played for Shenyang Shenbei, also in China. He finished his playing career back in Croatia with NK Nehaj in 2013.
Dabac as a Manager and Director
After retiring as a player, Dario Dabac moved into coaching and management roles. In 2018, he became a manager for Sichuan Jiuniu. Later, from 2020 to 2022, he worked as a sporting director for NK Istra 1961 in Croatia. A sporting director helps manage the club's football operations, like signing players and planning for the team's future.
