Kuan Hong, also known as Darren Chen, is an actor and model from Taiwan. He was born on January 15, 1995. Darren is famous for playing roles in TV shows like Meteor Garden (2018), My Unicorn Girl, and The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty (2020).

Early Life and Education
Darren Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He went to Taipei Municipal Heping High School. He studied English in college.
Darren enjoys playing many sports. He likes billiards, badminton, and ping pong. After finishing school, he thought about becoming a professional billiards player. However, he decided to start a career in modeling instead.
Career
Starting Out (2016–2018)
Darren Chen began his acting career in 2016. His first role was Lin Yutang in a fantasy web series called Proud of Love. He also appeared in its second season.
In 2017, Darren got a big role. He was chosen to play Hua Ze Lei in the 2018 TV show Meteor Garden. This show is based on a popular Japanese manga series called Boys Over Flowers.
He appeared in a magazine called Harper's Bazaar China. He was with his Meteor Garden co-stars Dylan Wang, Connor Leong, and Caesar Wu. The show first aired in July 2018, and Darren became very well-known. That same year, he also made a small appearance in a romantic comedy movie called Oversize Love.
Main Roles (2019–Present)
In 2019, Darren Chen got his first main role. He starred in a historical mystery drama called The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty. This show was produced by the famous actor Jackie Chan. It started showing in April 2020. In the same year, he also starred in a youth sports drama called My Unicorn Girl.
In 2021, Darren continued to act in TV series. He appeared in No Boundary and its second season, No Boundary Season 2. He keeps taking on new and exciting roles.
