Darryl DeWayne Motley, born on January 21, 1960, is a former American baseball player. He was an outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for the Kansas City Royals and Atlanta Braves. His MLB career lasted six seasons, from 1981 to 1987. During his time in MLB, Motley played in 413 games. He hit 44 home runs and had 159 runs batted in (RBIs). His batting average was .243. After playing in MLB, Motley also played two seasons in Japan. He played for the Chiba Lotte Marines in 1992 and 1993.
