Choi Da-seul (in Korean: 최다슬; born April 28, 1988), better known as Dasuri Choi, is a South Korean dancer and TV star who is famous in the Philippines. She first became well-known when she competed in "You're My Foreignay," a special segment on the popular TV show Eat Bulaga!. She won second runner-up and a special award for her talent.
From Dancer to TV Star
Dasuri Choi was born in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Before she became a TV personality, she was a professional dancer. From 2004 to 2010, she was part of several famous dance teams in South Korea, including Hong Yeong-ju, Step-up, and Yama & Hotchicks. She also worked as a dance trainee, which means she helped create dance moves for other performers.
In 2014, Dasuri moved to the Philippines and joined the "You're My Foreignay" contest on Eat Bulaga!. This contest was for talented foreign women living in the country. Her amazing dance skills helped her win a top spot.
After her success on Eat Bulaga!, Dasuri became a familiar face on Philippine television. From 2015 to 2019, she was a guest co-host on the show Day Off. She also appeared on many other programs, showing off her talents as a performer and host.
