Early Acting Career
David started acting when he was quite young. When he was 11 years old, he starred in a movie called The Tin Drum. This film was released in 1979 and helped him become known.
Later, when he was 17, he played the character Honeythorn Gump in the 1985 fantasy film Legend. In this movie, he acted alongside famous stars like Tom Cruise and Mia Sara.
