Mia Sara (born June 19, 1967) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in popular movies and TV shows.
Some of her most famous early roles include the fantasy film Legend (1985) and the comedy Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). She also starred in the science fiction movie Timecop (1994), for which she won an award. Later, she played Dr. Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn in the TV series Birds of Prey (2002–2003). After a break, she returned to acting in 2024.

Early Life and School
Mia Sara was born in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, New York. Her family is Italian-American and Catholic. Her mother, Diana, worked as a stylist and photographer. Her father, Jerome Sarapochiello, was also a photographer and artist. Mia went to St. Ann's School in Brooklyn.
Acting Career Highlights
Mia Sara's first big movie role was Princess Lili in the 1985 fantasy film Legend. She acted alongside Tom Cruise in this movie.
She became even more famous for playing Sloane Peterson in the 1986 hit film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. In this comedy, she played the girlfriend of the main character, Ferris Bueller.
In 1987, she appeared in the TV miniseries Queenie. She also acted in the 1992 film A Stranger Among Us, directed by Sidney Lumet.
A big moment in her career was starring with Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 1994 movie Timecop. This movie was a big success, and Mia Sara won a special award called the Saturn Award for her role.
She also played Molly Connor in The Impossible Elephant (2001). In the same year, she was in Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story, which was directed by Brian Henson. Brian is the son of Muppets creator Jim Henson.
On television, Mia Sara was Annie Knox in the science fiction series Time Trax (1993–94). She also played Dr. Harleen Quinzel in the TV show Birds of Prey (2002–03).

Personal Life
In 1996, Mia Sara married Jason Connery. Jason is the son of famous actor Sean Connery. Mia and Jason had worked together in a movie called Bullet to Beijing. In 1997, they had a son named Dashiell Quinn Connery, who is also an actor. Mia and Jason divorced in 2002.
Later, in 2005, Mia Sara had a daughter with Brian Henson. They got married in 2010.
