David Davis Cámara was born on October 25, 1976. He is a Spanish handball coach and a former player. He is currently the coach for the Romanian club Dinamo București. David Davis has family roots from Equatorial Guinea.
He used to play as a left winger. His last team as a player was FC Porto in 2013. After his playing career, he started coaching.

David Davis: A Coaching Journey
David Davis began his coaching career in 2014. He joined RK Vardar in Macedonia as an assistant coach. There, he worked with Raúl González Gutiérrez. Together, they won the EHF Champions League in 2017. They also reached the Final Four in 2018.
In 2016, he became the head coach for ŽRK Vardar, a women's team.
Coaching National Teams
In the summer of 2018, David Davis became the coach for the Egyptian national team. He led them in the 2019 World Cup in Denmark. The team achieved a great eighth-place finish.
Coaching Club Teams
In October 2018, he took over Telekom Veszprém. This was a challenging time for the team. However, he helped them win the Hungarian League and the SEHA League. They also reached the Champions League final.
During the 2019/2020 season, the team made it to the Final Four again. In 2021, David Davis left Telekom Veszprém. This was after they lost in the quarterfinals and won the Hungarian Cup.
In January 2022, he returned to Skopje to manage RK Vardar 1961. The team was struggling in the Champions League. Despite many player injuries and money problems, they won the Macedonian League and Cup. However, a ban from European competitions meant he had to leave the club.
