David Efianayi, born on December 19, 1995, is an American basketball player. He plays as a guard for Mersin MSK in Turkey's top basketball league, the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Before turning professional, he played college basketball at Gardner–Webb University.

David Efianayi was born in Manchester, Connecticut. He grew up in Orlando, Florida, moving there when he was in fifth grade. He is about 6 feet 2 inches (188 cm) tall and weighs around 185 pounds (84 kg).
David played high school basketball at Ocoee High School in Ocoee, Florida. During his junior year, he was recognized as an All-County Honorable Mention. This award showed he was one of the best players in the county.
College Basketball Career
David played college basketball for Gardner–Webb University from 2015 to 2019. He was a key player for the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs team.
Standout Seasons
- 2017–18 Season: David scored an average of 17.5 points per game. This was the third-highest in the Big South Conference. He also had a great free throw percentage of 80.7%. He averaged 1.2 steals per game, showing his defensive skills.
- 2018–19 Season: He improved his scoring, averaging 18.2 points per game. This placed him fifth in the Big South Conference. He also averaged 0.7 blocks per game.
