About David Quinlan
David Quinlan's work in Brazil began with help from American missionaries, Dan and Marti Duke. He worked with them as a music leader and translator. After eight years, he started his own independent work. This became known as the "Fogo e Glória" (Fire and Glory) Ministry. Later, it was called "Paixão, Fogo e Glória" (Passion, Fire, and Glory). Through this group, he leads music events and worship gatherings in many different cities.
David is married to Bebel Quinlan. They have two daughters named Danny and Angel.
His Music Style
David Quinlan plays the guitar and sings. He has recorded many songs. Some of these are translated versions of popular worship songs by other artists. These include songs by Matt Redman, Martin Smith, and Paul Baloche. He also sings songs from famous groups like Hillsong.
However, most of the songs on his albums are ones he wrote himself.
In 2012, David Quinlan released an album called Um Lugar para Dois (A Place for Two). He worked with the Som Livre music company for this album. It featured many special guest singers. One of the most popular songs on the album was "Vem Dançar" (Come Dance). He sang this song as a duet with singer Ana Paula Valadão.
