David Sacks went to Harvard College, which is a well-known university. While he was a student there, he started writing funny stories for the school's humor magazine, The Harvard Lampoon. This was the start of his career in comedy writing.
After finishing college, David moved to Los Angeles to work in television. He quickly began writing for different shows.
Television Work
David Sacks has written and produced for many famous television series. He worked on seasons five and six of The Simpsons, which is a very popular animated show. For his work on The Simpsons, he won an Emmy Award, which is a special prize for excellence in television.
He also worked on 3rd Rock from the Sun, a comedy show, and received a Golden Globe Award for it. Other shows he helped create include Malcolm in the Middle, The Tick, and Murphy Brown.
David Sacks has also worked on cartoons that many kids enjoy. He was involved with Pound Puppies and Regular Show on Cartoon Network. He also helped create and was a main producer for Nickelodeon's Pig Goat Banana Cricket. More recently, he was a main producer and writer for the TBS animated series Final Space.
