How Days Creek Got Its Name
The community of Days Creek was named after a local stream. This stream got its name from two brothers, Patrick and George Day. They settled near the mouth of the creek in 1851. A post office was opened in 1878 and was first called "Day's Creek." Around 1890, the name was changed to "Days Creek."
