Changes Over Time
In 1985, the Petersen family created American Tool Companies Inc., which then bought Petersen Manufacturing. Later, in 1993, American Tool bought another company called Irwin Industrial. The company continued to make Vise-Grips under the Irwin Industrial name.
Moving Production

A New Chapter
