Deepwater is a small community in Pennsville Township. It is located in Salem County, in the state of New Jersey. This community is found at the east end of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Deepwater is also where the United States Postal Service has its area for ZIP code 08023. In the year 2000, about 345 people lived in this area.
