How She Started Writing
Deirdre always had a passion for stories. She took a special class in creative writing. Her teacher was Siobhán Parkinson, who is also a famous writer. Her Amazing Books and Awards
Deirdre Sullivan has written many popular books. Several of her books have been nominated for important awards. One of her most famous books is Tangleweed and Brine. This book won the 28th CBI Book of the Year Awards. It was a special win because she worked with illustrator Karen Vaughan on it.
