Now, Del Monte Heights is a district within the city of Seaside. You can find it about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) east of downtown Seaside. Del Monte Heights was first planned out a long time ago, in 1909. Two people named F.M. Hilby and George W. Phelps were the ones who designed the layout for this community.
