Oluwademilade Oluwadamilola "Demi" Orimoloye (born January 6, 1997) is a Canadian former professional baseball player. He was born in Nigeria. Demi played in the outfield. He went to St. Matthew Catholic High School in Ottawa. Many people thought he was a very promising young player. This was before the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.
The Milwaukee Brewers chose Demi in the fourth round of the draft. Later, in 2018, he was traded. He joined the Toronto Blue Jays team.

Demi's Early Life
Demi Orimoloye was born in Nigeria. His parents are Adenike and Segun Orimoloye. His father, Segun, works as an architect. Both of his parents worked for the Nigerian government. Demi has a younger brother named Temi.
His family moved to Canada when Demi was only 18 months old. They settled in Orleans, Ontario. When he was a child, Demi enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball.
Demi's Baseball Journey
Demi started playing Little League Baseball when he was 10 years old. He attended St. Matthew Catholic High School in Ottawa. At 15, he joined the Canadian junior national baseball team.
In 2014, he traveled with the national team. They visited places like Orlando, Florida, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. He also played in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game. This game features the 40 best high school baseball players.

Playing for the Milwaukee Brewers
Demi Orimoloye first planned to play college baseball. He was going to join the Oregon Ducks baseball team at the University of Oregon. However, he was also eligible for the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft. Both Baseball America and Perfect Game ranked him as a top 50 player.
The Milwaukee Brewers picked Demi in the fourth round. He was the 121st player chosen overall. He signed a contract with the Brewers. He reportedly received an extra $450,000 for signing.
