Demore Barnes (born November 26, 1976) is a Canadian actor. He is known for playing different characters in popular TV shows. He was Sergeant First Class Hector Williams in The Unit. He also played the archangel Raphael in Supernatural. More recently, he was Deputy Chief Christian Garland in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Demore Barnes was born in Toronto, Canada. He started his acting journey on a comedy show called Squawk Box on YTV. After that, he joined the cast of Street Cents, another TV show.

Demore Barnes has appeared in several movies. In 1999, he was in a TV film called If You Believe. He also had roles in movies like Steal This Movie in 2000 and Jasper, Texas in 2003. Later, he appeared in The Barrens (2012) and Jean of the Joneses (2016). In 2020, he played Elbert Clark in The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel. One of his most famous roles was Sergeant First Class Hector Williams in The Unit, where he appeared in 45 episodes from 2006 to 2009. He also played the archangel Raphael in three episodes of Supernatural between 2009 and 2011.
Other notable TV appearances include Fringe (2010), Flashpoint (2012), and Hannibal (2013). He was also in The Listener and Covert Affairs in 2013.
From 2013 to 2015, he played Michael Chasseur in 11 episodes of Hemlock Grove. He also had a recurring role as Henry Hewitt / Tokamak in The Flash from 2015 to 2016.
More recently, he was Whitley in 24 episodes of 12 Monkeys from 2015 to 2018. He played Mr. Ibis in 17 episodes of American Gods from 2017 to 2021.
A very well-known role for him is Christian Garland in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He was a main character in seasons 22 and 23, appearing in 25 episodes between 2019 and 2022. He also played this character in an episode of Law & Order: Organized Crime in 2021.

Demore Barnes has also lent his voice to video games. In 2013, he was the voice of an English American Soldier in Splinter Cell: Blacklist. He also voiced the character Capitão in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (2015) and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction (2022).
