Dennis Bell was chosen by the New York Knicks in the 1973 NBA draft. He was the 83rd player picked overall in the 5th round. He played for the Knicks in the NBA from 1973 to 1976. During his time with the Knicks, he played in 63 games.
Playing for the Allentown Jets
Besides playing in the NBA, Bell also played for the Allentown Jets. This team was part of the Eastern Basketball Association (EBA). He played for the Jets during the 1973–74 season. He also returned to play for them from 1975 to 1978.
