Deutschlands MeisterKoch (which means Germany's Master Chef in English) was a German TV show about a cooking competition. It was shown in 2010 on the TV channel Sat.1. The show was based on the popular MasterChef series from the UK. The first winner of the show was Jessica from Saarbrücken.
The show was first shown on Friday evenings. But not many people watched it. So, it was moved to Saturday afternoons instead. Because of the low number of viewers, there was no second season of Deutschlands MeisterKoch.
