Deutschlands MeisterKoch (which means Germany's Master Chef in English) was a German TV show about a cooking competition. It was shown in 2010 on the TV channel Sat.1. The show was based on the popular MasterChef series from the UK. The first winner of the show was Jessica from Saarbrücken.

The show was first shown on Friday evenings. But not many people watched it. So, it was moved to Saturday afternoons instead. Because of the low number of viewers, there was no second season of Deutschlands MeisterKoch.

About the Show

This TV show was a cooking competition where amateur chefs (people who love to cook but aren't professionals) competed against each other. They had to show off their cooking skills and create amazing dishes. Famous chefs judged their food.

The Seasons

There were two main parts to this show, even though the first one only had one season.

Season Year Show Name Winner Runner-Up Third-Place
1 2010 Deutschlands Meisterkoch Jessica Fevengarth Martin Mierbrück Sally Sarhensen
