Dexter B. Davis, Jr. was born on December 27, 1990. He is an American football player who plays as a linebacker. He currently plays for the Wichita Force in the Champions Indoor Football (CIF) league. Dexter played college football at Friends University and went to Morrow High School in Georgia. He has also played for several other teams, including the Columbus Lions, Portland Steel, Guangzhou Power, and Baltimore Brigade.

Early Life and High School Football
Dexter Davis Jr. grew up in Georgia. He went to Morrow High School. There, he started his journey in football.
College Football Career
Dexter Davis played college football for the Friends Falcons from 2009 to 2012. He became a starter in his last two years. During his time, he helped the Falcons win 25 games. He played in 39 games and started all of them as a defensive end.
In his junior year, Davis led the entire National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) with 14.0 sacks. A sack is when a defensive player tackles the opposing team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. He was named First Team All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference twice. In 2011, he was also named the KCAC Defensive Player of the Year. The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) also recognized him as an All-American twice.

Professional Football Journey
After college, Dexter Davis Jr. began his professional football career. He has played for several teams in different leagues.
Playing for the Portland Steel
On November 14, 2014, Davis joined the Portland Thunder. The team later became the Portland Steel. Portland decided to keep him for the 2016 season.
Time with Guangzhou Power
Davis was chosen by the Guangzhou Power team. This was for the China Arena Football League (CAFL) in 2016. He was picked again by the Guangzhou Power in 2017.
Joining the Baltimore Brigade
Dexter Davis was assigned to the Baltimore Brigade on March 27, 2017. He had a great performance in Week 3 of the season. He made three sacks against the Cleveland Gladiators. Because of this, he was named the AFL's Defensive Player of the Week.
