Dexter Vines is an American comic book artist. He is especially known as an inker. An inker is an artist who adds ink lines over the pencil drawings made by another artist, called a penciler. Dexter Vines has worked with famous pencilers like Steve McNiven and Ed McGuinness. He and Ed McGuinness are sometimes called the "eDex" team.

What Does a Comic Book Inker Do?
An inker's job is very important in making comic books. After a penciler draws the comic pages with pencils, the inker uses ink to trace over those lines.
