Di Botcher (born June 2, 1959) is a talented actress from Wales. She is well-known for her roles in many popular British TV shows. You might recognize her from the comedy-drama Stella or the comedy series Little Britain. She also appeared in the historical drama Downton Abbey. Since 2018, she has played Jan Jenning in the medical drama Casualty.

Di Botcher's Early Life
Di Botcher was born on June 2, 1959, in Taibach, Port Talbot, Wales. She was one of two children. She studied English and drama at Warwick University. After graduating, she trained to be an actress at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She started her acting career in the 1980s.
Di Botcher's Acting Career
Throughout her long career, Di Botcher has received great reviews for her acting. In 1986, she performed in the musical Blood Brothers. A reviewer praised her as a "warm-hearted mum." Later, in 2003, her performance in Black Milk was called "a beacon" in a strong cast. People also loved her performance in the 2017/18 show Follies, calling it "magical" and "wonderful."
In 2018, Di Botcher joined the BBC medical drama Casualty. She plays the character Jan Jenning. That same year, she also started playing Nana Margie in the BBC Three series In My Skin. In 2022, she joined the radio show The Archers as Caitlin Thomas.
