Diana Joyce Hart, born on October 8, 1963, is a Canadian-American writer. She has also worked as a model and appeared in the world of professional wrestling. She is the youngest daughter of wrestling promoter Stu Hart. Her father, Stu, was famous for his wrestling company and for training many wrestlers.
Diana is well-known for appearing in wrestling shows like Stampede Wrestling and WWE. She often appeared with her brothers, Bret and Owen Hart, and her husband, Davey Boy Smith. She also wrote a book called Under the Mat. In 1997, she was named "Mrs. Calgary Stampede."

About Diana's Early Life
Diana Hart grew up in a very large family. She had eleven brothers and sisters! Her mother, Helen, was born in New York, which means Diana is a citizen of both Canada and the United States. Her father, Stu, had a mix of Scottish and English family roots.
Her siblings include Smith, Bruce, Keith, Wayne, Dean, Ellie, Georgia, Bret, Alison, Ross, and Owen. Many of them also became involved in wrestling.

Stampede Wrestling Shows
One of Diana's first appearances in wrestling was in August 1989. This was at Stampede Wrestling, her father's company. She was involved in a story where her husband, Davey Boy Smith, was in a rivalry with another wrestler. Her brother, Owen Hart, also joined in this story.
She was also part of Stampede Wrestling again in 1999. In one story, she refused to give a championship belt to a wrestler who had disrespected her family. She was then attacked, but her son, Harry, stepped in to help her.
World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWE)
Diana was often seen at big wrestling events for the WWE.
- SummerSlam 1992: In August 1992, Diana was at SummerSlam. Her husband, Davey Boy Smith, won the WWF Intercontinental Championship from her brother, Bret Hart. After the match, Diana hugged both her husband and her brother. This showed that their family was united.
- SummerSlam 1994: Two years later, at SummerSlam 1994, she watched her brothers Bret and Owen wrestle. They competed inside a steel cage for the WWF Championship.
- In Your House: Season's Beatings: In 1995, Diana walked to the ring with her husband. He was challenging Bret for the WWF Championship, but Davey lost the match.
- Storyline with Shawn Michaels: In 1996, the WWF created a story where Diana was involved in mind games with wrestler Shawn Michaels. This was to help her husband, Davey Boy Smith, who was going to wrestle Michaels for the WWF Championship. During this story, Diana slapped Michaels on Monday Night Raw. This led to a fight between Michaels and Davey Boy Smith.
- Canadian Stampede: In July 1997, Diana was with the Hart Foundation team. They won a big match at In Your House: Canadian Stampede.
- WWF One Night Only: Two months later, she was at a British wrestling event. Her husband lost the WWF European Championship to Shawn Michaels in the main event.
- Later WWE Appearances: Diana appeared on WWE television in May 2002. She was interviewed about her ex-husband's passing. She also returned to WrestleMania XXVI in 2010. Her Autobiography
After her younger brother, Owen Hart, passed away in a wrestling accident, Diana wrote a book. It was called Under the Mat: Inside Wrestling's Greatest Family. This book talked about stories from the Hart family. Owen's wife, Martha, planned to sue Diana over the book. Because of this, the book was stopped from being sold. Diana later said that the stories in the book were changed from what she originally wrote. She was very sad about the trouble it caused her family. Her brother, Bret, has questioned if she really didn't know what was in the book before it was published. Diana has said she doesn't support the book and wishes it had never been written.
The Cauliflower Heart Series
In 2015, Diana Hart shared that she planned to write three romance novels. This book series is called Cauliflower Heart. It is about a woman who grows up in a wrestling family.
- The first book, Cauliflower Heart: A Romantic Wrestler, came out in 2014. It won a silver medal award for Sports Fiction. It was also a runner-up at the Hollywood Book Festival.
- The second book, Cauliflower Heart: Wrestling With Life, was released on October 7, 2016.
- The third and final book, Cauliflower Heart: She Who Laughs Last, was released on February 17, 2017.
Other Work and Appearances
Diana Hart worked as a model in Calgary for 20 years.
She has also appeared in several documentaries. These include Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows, Surviving the Dungeon: The Legacy of Stu Hart, and Hart & Soul: The Hart Family Anthology. In 2015, Diana appeared on TV with her brother Ross. They talked about their father Stu's hundredth birthday. Diana is also in the documentary Hart Still Beating, which is about her brother Smith. In 2017, a documentary called Queen of Harts: The Diana Hart Story was made about her.
Diana's Personal Life
Diana Hart met Davey Boy Smith in 1981. He was training with her father at the time. They got married on October 7, 1984, the day before Diana's 21st birthday.
Diana and Davey had two children:
- Their son, Harry, was born on August 2, 1985.
- Their daughter, Georgia, was born on September 26, 1987.
Diana and Davey were married until 2000, when they divorced. Their son, Harry, followed his parents into professional wrestling. In 2015, Diana sold the rights to the "British Bulldog" wrestling trademark to her son Harry.
