Diana Joyce Hart (born October 8, 1963) is a Canadian-American writer and former model. She was also a wrestling personality. She is the youngest daughter of famous Canadian wrestling promoter Stu Hart. Diana is well-known for her appearances with Stampede Wrestling and WWE. She often appeared alongside her brothers Bret and Owen Hart. Her husband, Davey Boy Smith, was also a wrestler. Diana is also known for her book, Under the Mat.
She was named "Mrs. Calgary Stampede" in 1997.
Early Life and Family
Diana Hart has a rich family background. Her mother's side is from Greek and Irish heritage. Her father's family was mainly Scots-Irish. They also had some Scottish and English roots.
Diana is a citizen of both Canada and the United States. This is because her mother, Helen, was born in New York.
Diana grew up in a very large family. She had eleven siblings. These included Smith, Bruce, Keith, Wayne, Dean, Ellie, Georgia, Bret, Alison, Ross, and Owen. Many of her family members became famous in professional wrestling.

Stampede Wrestling Shows
One of Diana's first wrestling appearances was in 1989. This was for Stampede Wrestling, her father's company. She was involved in a story with her husband, Davey Boy Smith. His storyline brother, Johnny Smith, was also part of it. Her brother Owen Hart joined in too.
She also appeared in Stampede Wrestling in 1999. In one story, she refused to give a championship belt to a wrestler. This wrestler had insulted her family. She was then attacked, but her son Harry came to help her.
World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWE)
Diana was often seen at big WWE events.
- SummerSlam 1992: She was there when her husband, Davey Boy Smith, won a championship. He defeated her brother, Bret Hart, in a big match. After the match, Diana hugged both of them. This showed their family was united.
- SummerSlam 1994: Two years later, she watched her brothers Bret and Owen wrestle. They competed inside a steel cage for the WWF Championship.
- In Your House: Season's Beatings: In 1995, she walked to the ring with her husband. He was challenging Bret for the WWF Championship. Davey lost that match.
- King of the Ring 1996: Diana was part of a story involving her husband and Shawn Michaels. She even slapped Michaels during a TV show.
- In Your House: Canadian Stampede: In 1997, Diana was with the Hart Foundation team. They won a big match against other famous wrestlers.
- WWF One Night Only: She was at ringside when her husband lost his WWF European Championship to Shawn Michaels.
Diana also appeared on WWE television in later years. In 2002, she was interviewed about her ex-husband's passing. At WrestleMania XXVI, she returned to support her brother Bret Hart. She helped him win his match against Mr. McMahon. She also attended her father Stu's Hall of Fame induction in 2010. In 2021, she accepted the Hall of Fame award for her ex-husband, Davey Boy Smith.

Her Autobiography: Under the Mat
After her younger brother, Owen Hart, passed away, Diana wrote a book. It was called Under the Mat: Inside Wrestling's Greatest Family. The book talked about the Hart family. There was some disagreement about the book's content. Owen's widow had concerns about the book. This led to the book being taken off sale.
Diana later said that the stories in the book were changed. She felt hurt by the problems it caused her family. She has said she wishes the book had never been written.
The Cauliflower Heart Trilogy
In 2015, Diana announced she would write a series of romance novels. The series is called Cauliflower Heart. It is about a woman who grows up in a wrestling family.
- The first book, Cauliflower Heart: A Romantic Wrestler, came out in 2014. It won a silver medal award for Sports Fiction. It was also a runner-up at the Hollywood Book Festival.
- The second book, Cauliflower Heart: Wrestling With Life, was released in 2016.
- The third and final book, Cauliflower Heart: She Who Laughs Last, came out in 2017.
Other Media Work
Diana Hart has also worked as a model. She modeled in Calgary for 20 years.
She has appeared in several documentaries about wrestling and her family. These include Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows and Hart & Soul: The Hart Family Anthology. In 2015, she appeared on TV to talk about her father Stu's 100th birthday. She is also featured in Hart Still Beating, a documentary about her brother Smith. In 2017, a documentary called Queen of Harts: The Diana Hart Story was made about her.
Personal Life
Diana Hart met Davey Boy Smith in 1981. He was training to be a wrestler with her father. They got married on October 7, 1984. This was one day before her 21st birthday.
Diana and Davey had two children together. Their son, Harry, was born in 1985. Their daughter, Georgia, was born in 1987. Harry later became a professional wrestler, just like his parents. Diana and Davey divorced in 2000.
In 2015, Diana sold the rights to the "British Bulldog" wrestling name to her son Harry.
