Diarmuid Connolly, born on July 7, 1987, is a well-known Irish Gaelic footballer. He played as a forward for the Dublin county team for many years. His senior career with Dublin began in 2007 and lasted until 2018.
In July 2019, Diarmuid returned to train with the Dublin team. He then helped them win their sixth All-Ireland title in September 2019. In October 2020, Diarmuid announced he was retiring from playing for his county team.
