From 1994 to 2000, Didier Guillemot worked as a scientist at Inserm. This is a French organization for health research. Then, from 2001 to 2007, he was a research director at the Institut Pasteur. This famous institute studies biology and diseases.
He worked on HIV, which is a virus. Later, he became the head of a special lab at UVSQ. This lab studies health data, math, medicines, and infectious diseases.
