Dionne Stax is a well-known Dutch journalist and newsreader. She was born on April 22, 1985. She helps keep people informed by presenting the news on television.

About Dionne Stax
Dionne went to Elzendaal College in Boxmeer. She studied how people communicate, which is called communication sciences. She earned her first degree from Tilburg University and a higher degree from the University of Amsterdam.
Starting Her Career
Dionne began her career in 2007. She started as a trainee at a news program called NOS Headlines. This program later became NOS op 3. During her training, she wrote weekly summaries for a digital news channel.
After finishing her studies in 2009, Dionne continued to work hard.
Becoming a News Presenter
In February 2012, Dionne became one of the presenters for NOS op 3 on television. Besides presenting, she also worked as an editor behind the scenes.
By June 2013, she became a regular face for the morning and daytime news shows of the NOS Journaal. Since May 2015, Dionne has also presented the evening news. On December 5, 2015, she presented her first 8 PM news broadcast.
Important Moments in Her Career
Dionne was on air during the Paris attacks in January 2015. She was the one who shared the news about the Charlie Hebdo shooting. She also reported on the hostage situation at a Jewish supermarket two days later.
From 2015 onwards, Dionne took on the role of presenting the election results. This is a very important job during elections.
On April 27, 2016, during a special national holiday called Koningsdag, Dionne made history. She was the first journalist to interview the Dutch princesses: Amalia, Alexia, and Ariane. She spoke with them right after asking their parents some questions.
In 2017, Dionne presented a program for a TV channel called Omroep MAX. She also created a documentary series for NTR. This series was called Lady Di & Dionne and was about the life of Lady Diana.
In 2023, Dionne appeared on the Dutch television show The Masked Singer.
