Dirk Johannes Lehmann, born on August 16, 1971, is a German former professional footballer. He played as a striker during his career. Today, he is the manager of the football club SC 1910 Ederen.

Playing Career Highlights
Dirk Lehmann started his football journey in Aachen, Germany. He made his first team debut with 1. FC Köln. After playing in Germany, he moved to Belgium.
Playing in Belgium and England
Lehmann joined Lierse S.K. for a short time. Then, he moved to another Belgian team, R.W.D. Molenbeek. He played 26 league games for Molenbeek in the 1996–97 Belgian First Division. He also played two games in the UEFA Cup.
After his time in Belgium, Lehmann returned to Germany to play for FC Energie Cottbus. In the 1998–99 season, he joined the English club Fulham. He played 26 league matches for Fulham.
Moving to Scotland and Japan
After leaving Fulham, Dirk Lehmann moved to Scotland. He joined the Scottish team Hibernian. He had a great start, scoring two goals in his very first game for Hibernian. This match was a 2–2 draw against Motherwell.
In 2001, Lehmann left Hibernian and signed with Brighton & Hove Albion. While playing for Brighton, he gained some attention for wearing earrings during games. He would cover them with white sticking plasters. However, The Football Association eventually banned him from wearing them during matches. He scored one goal for Brighton in a Football League Trophy game.
Six months later, Lehmann returned to Scotland. He rejoined Motherwell. During this time, the club faced financial difficulties. Lehmann was one of the players who helped negotiate new contracts when the club was placed into administration. He played for Motherwell for another season, playing alongside a young player named James McFadden. After leaving Motherwell, he signed a contract to play for Yokohama FC in Japan.
Coaching Career
After his playing career, Dirk Lehmann began coaching. He took on the role of coach for a lower league team called Sportfreunde Düren. He has managed several teams since then.
Current Coaching Role
From 2009 to 2012, he was an assistant coach for Borussia Freialdenhoven. He then became a player-manager for Borussia Freialdenhoven II from 2012 to 2014. He continued as a player-manager for Alemannia Bourheim (2014–2015) and Sportfreunde Düren (2015–2016). From 2016 to 2020, he was a player-manager for Hambach.
More recently, from 2020 to 2023, Lehmann managed the Under-17 team for Alemannia Aachen. Since 2023, he has been the manager of SC 1910 Ederen.
