Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya (born on December 14, 1984) is a famous Indian television actress. She is well-known for playing two different characters, Vidya Pratapsingh and Divya Shukla, in the TV show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. She also played Dr. Ishita Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. In 2017, she won the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8. Later, in 2021, she was the runner-up in the adventure show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.

About Divyanka's Early Life and School

Divyanka Tripathi was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. She went to Carmel Convent School in Bhopal. After that, she studied at Sarojini Naidu Government Girls PG College. She also completed a special course in mountaineering from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.

Divyanka's Acting Journey

Divyanka started her career as an announcer for All India Radio in Bhopal. In 2003, she won the "Miss Beautiful Skin" title in a beauty contest. The next year, she took part in India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, a talent search show. In 2005, she was crowned Miss Bhopal.

First Steps in Television

Divyanka's first acting role was in a TV movie for Doordarshan. She also hosted a show called Akash Vani. In 2005, she appeared in the show Yeh Dil Chahe More.

In 2006, Divyanka got a big role in the TV drama Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. She played two characters, Vidya and Divya. People really liked her as Vidya and her acting with Sharad Malhotra. She won many awards for this role, including the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress. This show was very popular and ran for three years.

After Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Divyanka appeared in many other shows. In 2010, she played Rashmi Sharma in the comedy show Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale. She also took part in reality shows like Jjhoom India and Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan.

In 2013, Divyanka took on another very important role as Dr. Ishita Bhalla in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

In this show, she played a dentist who marries a CEO to be a mother figure to his daughter. The show was a huge hit and ran for six years until 2019. Divyanka won many awards for her role as Ishita, including the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress.

Dancing and Stunts on TV

In 2017, Divyanka participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8 with her husband, Vivek Dahiya. They won the competition! In 2019, she hosted the singing reality show The Voice 3. Later, in 2021, she joined the stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and finished as the first runner-up. From December 2020 to March 2021, she also hosted the crime show Crime Patrol.

Divyanka Tripathi was in a relationship with actor Sharad Malhotra for some time. They broke up in 2015.

On January 16, 2016, she got engaged to her Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star, Vivek Dahiya. They got married on July 8, 2016, in Bhopal.
