The Dixie Outlet Mall, also known as Dixie Value Mall, is a big shopping mall in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. You can find it on the south side of the Queen Elizabeth Way highway. It's special because it's Canada's largest enclosed outlet mall!
This mall has many popular brand name stores. Some of these include Nike, Calvin Klein, Guess, Puma, Tommy Hilfiger, Winners, Levis, and Famous Footwear. Dixie Outlet Mall is owned by Slate Asset Management and Cushman & Wakefield, which are Canadian companies.

Mall History: How Dixie Outlet Mall Started
The mall first opened its doors in 1956. Back then, it was called Dixie Plaza. Later, in the late 1980s, it got a new name: Dixie Outlet Mall. This happened after the mall was made much bigger and updated.
Dixie Outlet Mall was the very first mall of its kind in Mississauga. At that time, Mississauga was known as Toronto Township. It is also the oldest mall still open in the city.
The Fantastic Flea Market
Inside the Dixie Outlet Mall, you'll find something really cool: the Fantastic Flea Market. It started in 1976 and is the oldest flea market in Toronto. It's located in the basement of the mall.
At the flea market, you can discover all sorts of interesting things. They sell clothing, jewelry, video games, and even old collectibles. You can also find services like electronic and watch repairs there.
Dixie Outlet Mall's Green Efforts
Dixie Outlet Mall cares about the environment. It is "100% Bullfrog Powered." This means the mall uses clean energy from wind and water.
The mall also has many recycling stations. These help visitors recycle their waste. In 2010, the mall won a Gold Award from the Recycling Council of Ontario for its great recycling work.

If you need help at Dixie Outlet Mall, head to Guest Services. It's located near the Yellow Entrance. Here, you can find ATMs to get cash and public telephones.
The mall also has washrooms that are easy for wheelchairs to use. If you need a wheelchair or walker, you can borrow one for free. You just need to leave a $50 deposit, which you get back when you return it.
Currently, Dixie Outlet Mall does not sell gift cards. They stopped selling them after new owners took over in early 2018. There is no set date for when gift cards might be available again.

The Dixie Mall Bus Terminal is located on the southeast side of the mall. It's a simple bus stop area. It has two bus shelters and two benches for people waiting for the bus.
The bus terminal is not directly connected to the mall building.
