He raced with different teammates in three events. His best finish was 17th place. In 2011, Dom achieved a big win. He became the champion of the Welsh Sports & Saloon Championship. This was a great step in his racing journey!
Racing in British GT
Dom Evans joined the British GT Championship in 2012. This was a big moment for him! He teamed up with another new driver, Zoë Wenham. They raced a Ginetta G50 in the GT4 class. The GT4 class is for sports cars that are closer to road cars.
Dom missed the first race of the season. But he made his debut at the Nürburgring track in Germany. It was an amazing start! He and Zoë finished third in one race. Then they finished second in another race. This showed everyone how talented Dom was.
The 2012 season was very successful for them. Even though they didn't win a race, they were very competitive. Zoë was even fighting for the championship title! Dom finished the season in third place overall. The championship was eventually won by Team WFR.
Moving to GT3 Cars
In 2013, Dom Evans moved up to the GT3 category. GT3 cars are even faster and more powerful. He joined the Blendini Motorsport team. He raced alongside the team boss, Tom Roche. They drove an Audi R8 LMS car.
This new challenge was tough. Dom and Tom finished 18th in their first two GT3 races. Dom competed in four more races that year. But he didn't score any points in the GT3 class. Still, moving to GT3 showed his dedication to racing.
