The Halloween Party Problem
Raven and Chelsea are the only students in their class not invited to Alana's Halloween party. This is because Raven and Alana don't get along very well. At the Chill Grill, Victor, Raven's dad, tells them that Alana is having the party right there. Raven knows Alana did this just to annoy her.
Chelsea then realizes something shocking. Victor accidentally switched their food orders! Chelsea, who is a vegetarian, was eating a hamburger instead of her usual veggie burger. She feels very guilty about breaking her vegetarian promise.
Trick-or-Treating Plans
After his work shift, Victor gets ready for trick-or-treating. He is dressed as Victor Frankenstein. Cory, dressed as a bodybuilder, is supposed to go with him. But Cory tells his dad that he wants to trick-or-treat with his friends instead.
Victor feels a bit sad, but he lets Cory go with his friend William. William's costume is a remote control that makes nearby electronics go a bit crazy! Tanya, Raven's mom, is dressed as Igor. She cheers Victor up by offering to trick-or-treat with him instead.
A Magical Mistake
Chelsea feels really bad about eating the burger. She starts wearing a pin with a cow's face on it. To pass the time, she and Raven look through a trunk filled with magical items. These items belong to Raven's grandmother, Viv.
They find an old magic book with a spell that can grant any wish. They decide to use it to get invited to Alana's party. They put the special ingredients into a cauldron. Soon after, Alana calls them, acting strangely, and invites them to the party! It seems the spell worked.
Next, they wish to become the most popular girls at the party and win the costume contest. But they don't notice Chelsea's cow pin fall into the cauldron during the second part of the spell. They then go upstairs to get their costumes ready.
Turning into Cows!
While getting dressed, Raven and Chelsea are shocked. They discover they have grown cow ears and tails! Eddie, their friend, arrives to take them to the party. But they quickly make him leave, telling him to take the spell book with him. They even start to moo sometimes!
The girls soon realize what happened. They are turning into cows because Chelsea's cow pin fell into the spell. They also realize they can't reverse the magic without the book. Raven suggests they still go to the party to get the book back. She thinks no one will question their cow-like looks on Halloween night.
More Trick-or-Treating Fun
Meanwhile, Cory and William return home without any candy. William's costume kept setting off alarms in the neighborhood! Victor and Tanya arrive back with a big bag full of candy. They let the boys take some of their treats.
Cory tells Victor that he actually misses trick-or-treating with him. This makes Victor happy. He decides to take both boys out to get more candy.
The Party Chaos
At Alana's party, Raven and Chelsea struggle to find Eddie. Their bodies and behavior are becoming more and more like cows. When they finally find him, Chelsea accidentally eats the page from the book they needed to reverse the spell!
Just then, Alana's friends stop the party to announce the costume contest winners. Alana is furious to learn she placed second. Raven and Chelsea, who have now completely turned into Holstein cows, win first place! They decide to "milk it" for all it's worth.
Then, something amazing happens. It's revealed that the whole night was just a vision Raven had! She saw it right before Chelsea ate the hamburger. This vision allows Raven to stop Chelsea from eating the meat. This prevents the whole cow transformation from ever happening in real life.
Back at the house, Victor and Tanya enjoy their Halloween candy together.
