College Football Career
Gaffney played quarterback for the Florida Gators. He was chosen for the All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) team. The SEC is a group of college sports teams.
He led the Gators to three important football games. These games are called bowl games. They were the Tangerine Bowl, the Sugar Bowl, and the Gator Bowl. He was their starting quarterback from 1973 to 1975.
