Don Pedro Colley (born August 30, 1938 – died October 11, 2017) was an American actor. He was known for playing interesting characters in many TV shows and movies. Some of his most famous roles include Gideon in Daniel Boone and Sheriff Ed Little in The Dukes of Hazzard. He also appeared as Ongaro in Beneath the Planet of the Apes and SRT in George Lucas' movie THX 1138.
Early Life and Dreams
Don Pedro Colley was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon. As a young person, he loved sports. He played football and ran track and field at Klamath Union High School. He even tried out for the 1960 Summer Olympics, but he didn't make the team.
Later, he went to the University of Oregon to study architecture. But his path changed! He joined a theater group and spent five years learning how to act. He performed in many plays in San Francisco.

Don Pedro Colley appeared in many TV Westerns in the 1960s and 1970s. These included shows like The Wild, Wild West, The Virginian, and Iron Horse. He was a guest at a special event in 2012 for actors from TV Westerns.
In the 1970s, Don also acted in movies from the "Blaxploitation" era. These were films that featured African-American actors in leading roles. He starred alongside actors like Fred "The Hammer" Williamson in the movie Sugar Hill.
