Donald MacLean, 1st Laird of Brolas (born around 1600, died after 1655), was an important Scottish leader. He was a Laird, which means he was a powerful landowner and chief in Scotland. Donald was a member of Clan MacLean, a famous Scottish family group. He was the very first person to hold the title of Laird of Brolas. He also took part in a big fight called the Battle of Inverkeithing.

Donald MacLean married Florence Maclean. She was the daughter of John Garbh Maclean, 7th Laird of Coll. Together, they had several children who continued the family line.
