She's known for many things, like making food look amazing (that's a food stylist!), writing cookbooks, editing magazines, running her own business, and hosting TV shows. Cookbooks and Magazines
Donna Hay is most famous for her many cookbooks. She has written 27 bestselling cookbooks! These books include titles like the new easy, fresh and light, and Basics to Brilliance: Kids. Her books have sold over 6 million copies all around the world. People love her books because they have simple recipes and beautiful photos.
In January 2007, she was named one of the 'Magnificent Seven' cookbook authors. This special award was given by the judges of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. Her newest book, Too Easy, came out in October 2024.
Donna also used to be the Editor-in-Chief of Donna Hay Magazine. This magazine came out every two months and started in 2001. It stopped being published in July 2018 after 100 issues. Before that, she was the Food Editor for Marie Claire magazine in Australia. She also worked as a Food Editor for newspapers like The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald.

In November 2022, a new four-part series called "Donna Hay Christmas" was released. This show launched all over the world on Disney+.
Awards and Recognition
Donna Hay has received a special award for her work. In the 2022 Queen's Birthday Honours, she was given the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).
