Dorte Mandrup-Poulsen, born on July 28, 1961, is a famous Danish architect. She is the founder and creative director of her own architecture company, Dorte Mandrup A/S. Her company is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and has designed many buildings that are known around the world.

Dorte Mandrup's work is special because her designs are very strong and new. She uses interesting shapes and materials. She also thinks carefully about how her buildings will fit into their surroundings.

Some of her well-known projects include the Wadden Sea Centre on the Danish coast. She also designed the Icefjord Centre in Ilulissat in Greenland. Another big project is a new building complex for the Danish clothing company Bestseller in Brande. This project includes a very tall tower, which is now Denmark's tallest building.

In 2017, Dorte Mandrup wrote an article called "I am not a female architect. I am an architect." in Dezeen. In this article, she talked about how gender is seen in the world of architecture. She also won the Berlin Art Prize for architecture in 2019.

Mandrup is a member of the board for the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. She also helps the Historic Buildings Council. In 2022, Dorte Mandrup was a judge for The Daylight Award.
