It's located north of the town of Dosrius, in the Maresme area of Catalonia, Spain. Today, only parts of the castle remain as ruins. It was first written about in old records in the year 1114. This means it's very old, built around the same time as other castles nearby, like Burriac Castle. For many years, until the early 1400s, the castle was owned by a religious group called the Priory of Saint Peter of Casseres.
