The Dr. Charles and Judith Heidelberger House is a historic residence located in Madison, Wisconsin, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was built in 1951. A two-story master bedroom, also designed by Herb Fritz, was added in 1956.
History
Charles Heidelberger was a member of the faculty of what would become the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a world-renowned cancer researcher, and member of the National Academy of Sciences, who developed the medication Fluorouracil. The house was added to the State and the National Register of Historic Places June 26, 2017.
