The museum has about 3,000 historical photographs. These pictures show how the Mornington Peninsula area grew over time. You can see photos of old transport, farming life, fun activities, and schools. In February 2018, the museum experienced a loss of some important historical photos and WW1 medals.

In 2015, the museum decided to make its exhibition area more exciting. They wanted to attract new visitors and members.
