Drumheller, Washington facts for kids
Drumheller was once a small community, often called a "ghost town," located in Franklin County, within the state of Washington in the United States. Today, it no longer exists as an active town.
A Short History of Drumheller
The community of Drumheller was named after an early local settler, Sam Drumheller. It was a very small settlement that didn't last long.
A post office was opened in Drumheller in 1906. This means that for a few years, people living there could send and receive mail. However, the post office closed just three years later, in 1909. After the post office closed, the community eventually faded away, becoming what we now call an extinct town.
