Duane Martin (born August 11, 1965) is an American actor. He started his acting journey with roles in many TV comedy shows. Later, he became well-known for playing Robert James in the sitcom All of Us (from 2003 to 2007). He also played Detective Ben Baines in the police show L.A.'s Finest.
Duane Martin has appeared in several movies too. Some of his film roles include White Men Can't Jump (1992), Above the Rim (1994), and The Inkwell (1994). He also starred in Deliver Us from Eva (2003) and The Seat Filler (2004).

Early Life and Education
Duane Martin was born in Brooklyn, New York. He went to New York University and graduated from there. While at NYU, he played college basketball. In 1989, he even signed a contract with the New York Knicks, a professional basketball team. However, he didn't end up playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Acting Career
Duane Martin's first TV roles included an appearance on the NBC comedy series Out All Night. This show starred famous people like Patti LaBelle and Vivica A. Fox.
In 1998, Martin was part of the cast for the Fox sitcom Getting Personal. From 2003 to 2007, he played Robert James, a TV reporter, in the sitcom All of Us. He acted alongside his former wife, Tisha Campbell, in this show. He also had a repeating role as Chuck in the sitcom Rita Rocks (2009). Later, he played Fernando in The Paul Reiser Show (2011).
Notable Film Roles
Duane Martin has had many memorable roles in movies. He played Willie in the basketball film White Men Can't Jump (1992). He was also Jr. Phillips in The Inkwell (1994) and Kyle Lee Watson in Above the Rim (1994).
In the romantic comedy movie The Seat Filler (2004), he starred as Derrick Harver. Derrick was a law student who fell in love with a celebrity. Martin also played himself in the BET comedy series Real Husbands of Hollywood. In 2017, he played Louil Silas, Jr. in the TV mini-series The New Edition Story.
Personal Life
Duane Martin met actress Tisha Campbell in 1990. They got married on August 17, 1996. They have two sons together. In 2018, Tisha Campbell filed for divorce, and it was finalized in 2020.
In February 2024, Duane Martin shared that he was engaged to model Ashley Marie Jones.
